Hey everybody. We've got another source list for the most recent episode of History Impossible. This list felt much shorter than usual, but many of these books were pretty in-depth reads (especially Hans Massaquoi's own memoirs). I especially recommend people who want more details about Hans' life check out his memoirs, but all of these books are worth a read. So check 'em out:
Hans J. Massaquoi, Destined to Witness: Growing Up Black in Nazi Germany, 1999.
James Baldwin, Notes of a Native Son, 1955.
Isabel Wilkerson, Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, 2020.
William Shirer, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, 1960.
Clarence Lusane, Hitler's Black Victims: The Historical Experiences of European Blacks, Africans, and African Americans During the Nazi Era, 2004.
Richard J. Evans, The Third Reich in Power: 1933-1939, 2006.
